Workshop Update

Hey guys, figured I'd give you an update. I got the electrical all upgraded. I'm working on installing the new heater now. Some of the insulation is done. I'm going to replace the doors next so I get a good seal. 

I have plans for a few new shelves and a work bench. My old bench is a tad too small. 

I plan to have a wood bending jig set up before winter so I can start making shields by hand. I will keep you all up to date on that.

Workshop

Well I'm finally getting somewhere with my workshop this year. Will get the electrical finished in the next week or so. This includes the new heaters I'll be installing. I'm hoping to get the new doors on as well.

I will be attempting to start making my own wood based shields. 🛡

With any luck I can get a wood bending technique down and have those available this xmas.

In the future I would also like to make my own swords as buying these prefabricated ones is getting old. They often have issues when I recieve them, if I recieve them at all (damn mail is horrible lately). Still working on a plan of action for that. I will keep you all updated as it progresses. 

tried A new technique

Tried a new technique to create these shields more efficiently. Didn't have the best results. Will go back to the drawing board I guess. 

Got a bunch of new items to make jewelry out of though. Will update again when I get some new pieces done. 

Back to the grind

Hey guys,

I'm still refining the way i do shields and swords to make them look as good as i can. I found a new paint that works great! I'm hoping this will make everything both easier on me and but look even better for you guys. Below are photos show casing the new way i'm doing shields and swords along with the color change effect.

I am working a new store items as well. Mainly focused on cos play right now but i plan on making some more decor and jewelry as well.

I've been looking into smithing but that start up costs are too high for now.

Updates

Hello,

Small update on things. First I am about half way done with the sheath prototype. I'm not sure when it will be finish but I'll try to get it done in the next couple of weeks.

Secondly, I do not make these swords. I can make wood replicas but I can't cast one for you. Sorry for the confusion there.

And third, I did change my pricing a bit as I'm barely making $3/hr for myself (after costs) so I had little choice but to change a few things around. Please understand that it wasn't a drastic change it was just to pay for my time and effort of getting these correct.
