Sorry to drop off the face of the earth for years. I've had lot going on since 2020 and quiet honestly forgot about this blog until now. ^_^; I don't really expect anyone will read this but regardless this update is more to say that my shop will be shifting gears to a different type of merchandise.
I've found that cheap 3D printed swords and shields have taken over the market tat this point and I'm not really enjoying making them to order anymore. So I will be pivoting to leather working more and making the occasional higher quality sword or shield made by hand as time permits. Rushing through making them when an order popped up caused a lot of trouble and as of late making leather sword belts has been more feasible. Somewhere along the way I lost my passion for making art and the items n my shop so I'm trying to get that back.
My first change is to create a custom Size chart for the sword belts so I can stop having to wait for people to tell me what size they need. I will range the sizes instead. Second will be have a few in stock but not many. Next is expanding what leather goods I work on. I'd like to add pauldrons, bracers, etc. These will have to be done by hand at first as a leather sewing machine is way too expensive for what little I make currently.
Over the next coming months you'll notice the shop change, removing the to order items and replacing them with premade or removing them entirely. I will likely remove any jewelry that have never sold or even been looked at as these seem like a waste of shop space. I will be focusing my shop down more to two topics Gaming Cosplay and Gaming merch.
On the side I do plan to pursue my passion for repairing old gaming consoles as well. These may or may not show up on the shop. I have not decided as of yet.
Going forward I will attempt to do progress updates including picture of my shop for working on stuff. Might take a bit to get pictures as I'm currently going through everything in my shop and reorganizing/purging un-needed items.
